This very well may be the lamest and worst use for a “blog”, but damn it, I’m desperate!
Yeah, my desperation is a given. But it’s not for the usual reasons. Let me explain.
I live in Utah. It’s cold here. Mother Nature has taken snow dump on us 3 times in the last week, which I see as proof of her having a sick sense of humor.
But there’s more!
I’m also a single mom of three kids. THREE! That gets pretty stressful. And one amazingly perfect way to relieve stress is to take a nice long soak in a hot tub before bed. Ahhh. I can just picture the steam rising off my body in the 5 degree outside temperatures. But alas, it is only a dream (for now).
Another reason for my groveling: I’m poor. OK yes, poor is a relative term. But, like I said, I’m a single mom. Because of certain “issues” with one child, I am unable to work outside of the home in the traditional fashion. Blah blah blah… I won’t bore you with the details, suffice it to say that $ is tight… AND so are my muscles!
So if you find it in your heart to donate something… ANYTHING… to help me purchase a hot tub, I am pretty confident that the hot tub and relaxation gods will smile down upon you. And you will also have my undying gratitude.
